Professional experience:

The Norwegian Design Council, Oslo
Project Manager, Web and Communication (October 2007-present)
Responsible for the development of new web based services and online communication. Reporting to the communication director and assisting her on all communcation/PR and information activities. Project manager/driving force behind new the development and launch of an online index of all Norwegian design agencies which launched in 2008: Designbasen. Now in charge of all marketing/PR related to that site.

RawFlow Ltd, London
Marketing Manager (March 2006-October 2007)
Coordination of all marketing and communications activities to better position the company to its key B2C and B2B markets including broadcasters/content owners, delivery networks/telecoms and new media/communities, as well as developing, launching and marketing a new product for user generated content; Selfcast. My work at RawFlow was very varied and included project management of creatives, brand building, new product development, media communication and PR, organising of events, product launches and tradeshows. I also represented the company as a public speaker and managed the marketing team. Managed international PR working with agencies in the US and the UK.

Account Manager (February 2006 – March 2006)
As account manager for Ashridge New Media my role was to be the link between the project manager/development team and the client. I was responsible for keeping in touch with clients on a daily basis and keep them up to date on project progress, getting necessary feedback and new business. Research Assistant (September 2005 – January 2006)
As a research assistant for the research programme “The Value Creating board” co-financed by the Norwegian Research Council, Innovation Norway, The Confederation of Norwegian Business and Industry, Oslo Stock Exchange, Odin Investment, Vital insurance, Tine and Gilde, my task was planning, administrating and collecting data in a survey sent to top-level management and corporate board chairs in 3500 firms in Norway.

Spreadshirt GmbH, Leipzig / Oslo
Marketing Manager / Business development Scandinavia (September 2004 – January 2006)
Spreadshirt is a German personalized merchandising company on a web-based platform where companies and individuals may open their own web shop for free. I managed to convince Spreadshirt management that the Scandinavian market was attractive and helped the company to enter this market, which turned out to be one of the highest performing markets in Europe. In addition, the position has involved executing and developing strategies for both online and offline marketing.

3DM Inc; Boston
Business internship (Summer 2004)
As a business intern in a biotechnology spin-off from MIT, I had to get up to speed fast on the technology in question. 3DM needed to validate the need for the product and I assisted with market research. The research involved finding contacts in the pharmaceutical and biotechnical industry for testing purposes. The result was that 3DM got a more clear view on which actors to target in terms of their current and future R&D focus, and were able to prove to investors and partners that the product features had immense value in terms of testing new medical drugs at an earlier stage of the development.
